Ferrari 400i Straman Cabriolet - 1983
Rare and controversial, the 400i was developed as a true grand tourer over with all-round independent suspension by double wishbones, concentric coil springs and dampers, the ride was firm but still luxurious. The original Daytona 4.4 litre V-12 engine was enlarged to 4.8 litre & was the first fuel-injected Ferrari V12 for the '79 400 model. An automatic transmission was first offered as an option to five speeds for this model. Of the 235 units produced in 1983, this one has undergone a cabriolet conversion.
